This blog originally started during my Erasmus year in 2013/14 which I spent studying maths at Université Joseph Fourier in Grenoble, France as a way to keep my family and friends updates with my adventures round Europe. Le Rabot is the infamous university halls I stayed in during my time in Grenoble, and to this day the benchmark against which all accommodation is measured. I’ve decided to revive it in January 2020 to document my adventures in Providence, RI during my semester postdoctoral fellowship at Brown – mainly to avoid spamming friends and family in innumerable group chats.
